What is Turbo Kick LIVE?
It’s a high-energy class that features cardio kickboxing combos and body-sculpting dance moves choreographed to the hottest music mixes. It really is the ultimate cardio kickboxing party and it’s a great way to create a strong community of support, camaraderie, and fitness breakthroughs among your members.
Turbo Kick LIVE is one of five Group Ex classes offered by Beachbody® LIVE, our Group Ex division of Beachbody. Beachbody is the leader in results-driven fitness and health products with over 20 years of experience helping people lead healthy lifestyles.
Beachbody LIVE is a welcoming community of like-minded people who thrive on results-oriented, innovative, and inspiring workouts. We’re a group of gyms, studios, Instructors, Master Trainers, and class participants committed to our fitness goals and sharing our fitness journeys. That’s what our classes are all about.
Turbo Kick LIVE classes are designed for all fitness levels, from beginner to advanced. Instructors work closely with participants to modify exercises, showing them progressions and regressions so everyone is challenged. And they definitely get results.
Equipment required: Please bring your own water bottle and towel for each class. Be prepared to follow along with a qualified instructor at a moderate to fast pace.
Program Dates & Times
The program is offered in a 10-week time period, 1 class per week for 1 hour with a maximum of 8 participants per class.
Start date: Wednesday, September 26, 2018
End date: Wednesday, November 21, 2018
Time: 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
If a class cannot be held for whatever reason, the class will be postponed to another day that week or the class(s) will be added to the end of the program dates, i.e. November 28, December 5, 2018, etc.
$85 per participant payable by cash or cheque

Cheques payable to ‘St. Norbert Community Centre’ or ‘SNCC’
The SNCC offers FREE public skating on Sunday afternoons between 1:20 and 2:20 pm in the arena rink. Free public skating starts the Sunday, October 7 with the exception of holidays and the Christmas Challenge weekend. Free public skating ends on February 24, 2019.
Every Monday and Friday, the SNCC offers public skating for a $3.00 fee per participant between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM in the arena building with the exception of holidays and during the Christmas Challenge.
The whole family is welcome to join in the fun.
Helmets are not mandatory but is strongly recommended for public skating.
The SNCC offers kids shinny on Thursday afternoons between 3:40 - 4:40 PM starting Friday, September 24 to December 14, 2018. It will restart on January 4 and end March 15, 2019.

Pembina Active Living 55+
Pembina Active Living (55+) offers seniors the opportunity to stay active.
This program is not operated by SNCC, they rent space from the community centre to deliver their programs. You must contact PAL (55+) and register to participate. Please call 204-946-0839 or email firstname.lastname@example.org or check out their website.
Are you 60 years or older and would like to keep active in the sport of hockey?
The SNCC offers recreational, non contact hockey games led by volunteers on Tuesday and Thursday every week between 11:30 am and 1:00 pm. The program runs from September 11, 2018 to March 14, 2019.
The SNCC hosts 2 luncheons in the arena viewing lounge for all 60+ hockey participants. The first luncheon is in mid-December and the second in March as a season windup. These are meant to gather the players after a game to enjoy a light meal and visit off ice.
More information will be shared with all participants once the schedule is finalized.

Yoga & Zumba
The SNCC is looking into the possibility of delivering the yoga and zumba classes again at the community centre to start January 2019.
We are currently searching for instructors to host the activity. If you or someone you know is qualified to lead the activities please contact the Facility Manager with names and contact information.
The initial plan is to offer the program for 10 weeks with classes held once per week for each activity. Participant cost will be determined but remain affordable for our clients. A minimum of 7 participants is required up to 25 maximum per class.
