FITNESS PROGRAMS

Senior fitness program plans are being finalized for the Winter 2022 session (Jan - Mar), classes offered will be announced along with registration details when the plans are finalized.

sncc LEARN TO SKATE

The Learn to Skate Program for Fall 2021 (Oct - Dec) is underway, a second ice time was added due to increased demand

Registration for the Winter 2022 session (Jan - Mar) will start in November 2021

Learn to Skate will be hosted every Tuesday and Thursday between 4:15 and 5:15 pm

Public Skating

Public Skating will be offered starting Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 1:45 - 2:45 pm

Helmets are mandatory, screening for full vaccination status

For safety and physical distancing recommendations, a maximum of 50 skaters will be allowed on ice

No reservations are taken, first come first serve, doors open 30 minutes prior

Senior Shinny & 60+ Hockey

Are you 60 years or older and would like to keep active in the sport of hockey?

Senior Shinny offers recreational, non-contact shinny led by volunteers on Monday and Friday, every week between 12:30 and 1:30 pm. Cost per skater is $4.00 payable at the door. Helmets are mandatory. Gloves, stick and helmet are minimum equipment requirements.

The SNCC offers recreational, non contact hockey games led by volunteers on Tuesday and Thursday every week between 11:15 am and 1:30 pm. The program runs from September 14, 2021 to March 10, 2022. Players require full equipment. Please contact Brent Porth at bnporth@icloud.com or Robin Wright at rcwright@mymts.net to register for 60+ hockey. The volunteers will provide additional information regarding the program.

OUTDOOR RINK

Is scheduled to reopen in November or December 2021 depending on the weather
